Rights - Any discussion about human rights (slavery, oppression) or animal rights (cruelty, abuse) must first address our Creator's rights. He has the right to command how we treat both His people and His animals.

Religious Persecution

Please Watch New Documentary:

"Let My People Go."
(1 hour 25 minutes)

People have used, abused, enslaved, and killed one another throughout history. People from every nationality and "religion" have been persectuted at different times in history. Today, Christians are being persecuted at unprecidented numbers and in horrible ways. Sadly, Christians are not the only ones. Many others people groups are suffering at the hands of predatory people. Sadly, the majority of the world and its leaders seem to be either turning a blind eye or merely responding with words and no effective action.

Not only have people from every nationality and "religion" been persecuted in the past, but virtually every group has also - in different times - been the persecutors of others. However, genuine, Christ-following Christians have never and could never persecute others.

Please beware when anti-Christians use past examples of pseudo-Christian to misrepresent "Christianity". Pseudo-Christians throughout history have misused the label of "Christian" as they followed the way of the world.

The Way of the World is "Survival of the Fittest":
= Sacrificing Others for the Desires of Self

Jesus's heart and teaching stood in opposition to any form of persecution or oppression. He taught unselfish love, even for our enemies. In Matthew 5:43-48, Jesus said His followers must "love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."

The Way of Christ:
= Sacrificing Self for the Needs of Others

"For scarcely for a righteous man will one die;
yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.
But God demonstrates His own [unique] love toward us,
in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 5:7-8

Too often we hear that another homicide bomber has died with a hate filled heart, trying to kill men, women, and even the children of those who disagree with him.  At least on rare occasions we still hear of a man or woman who sacrifices his or her life for a loved one or a friend.  But the totally unique love of God our Creator, demonstrated through Jesus His Son, is willing to suffer and die even to save His enemies

This is our calling as Christians, not only to be ready to die for our enemies, but to daily walk as living sacrifices (Romans 12:1-3) so that even our persecutors can see the love of our Father and be drawn into His family.  We all fall far short of our Lord Jesus in love, but we can and must keep growing through submissive faith - for His honor and for the blessing of those around us.

"Be of the same mind toward one another;
do not be haughty in mind,
but associate with the lowly.
Do not be wise in your own estimation.
Never pay back evil for evil to anyone.
Respect what is right in the sight of all men.
If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men
Never take your own revenge, beloved,
but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written,
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
Romans 12:16-21

THE PILGRIM CHURCH: Tracing the pathway of the forgotten saints from Pentecost to the Twentieth Century.

"It ought to be obvious to even the casual observer of history that the real story of the church is not the one recorded in secular history. This classic work by E. H. Broadbent demonstrates that the true heart of this amazing drama is not even recorded in church history books.  This is the saga of those intrepid believers, "of whom the world was not worthy", who not only were persecuted by civil authorities, but were denounced, defamed, and decimated by the professing church. Who were the Waldensians? The Lollards? The Stundists? The Anabaptists? These names were given by their enemies to those who claimed only the name of Christ, and who were prepared to suffer for His cause rather than submit to those man-made traditions that they believed contradicted the Word of God.
Written in an engaging style, the author will thrill your heart with the stories of unknown heroes of the faith. It will spur you on to greater devotion to the Lord Jesus and a deeper concern for His suffering people in many countries today"

- Martyrs: Stories of Those Who Stood for Jesus
* "There are more Christian martyrs today than there were in ad 100--in the days of the Roman Empire. Now in the twenty-first century, according to the Center for the Study of Global Christianity, more than 150,000 Christians are martyred around the world every year."

ANTI-SEMITISM - Historically Unique

* SAD BUT NOT SURPRISING - I once linked articles from
YIISA: Yale Initiative for the Interdisciplinary Study of Antisemitism
Sadly, YALE capitulated to anti-Jewish pressure from liberal academia, manipulative media, and pro-Islamist militants.
Please see the following articles that reveal why:
- "Yale's New Jewish Quota: The university's shameful decision to kill its anti-Semitism institute." By Ron Rosenbaum
- " Who killed YIISA? It's a kind of academic murder mystery. YIISA—for those who have not caught the scant coverage of this deeply disturbing development—stands for the Yale Initiative for the Interdisciplinary Study of Antisemitism. Or should I say stood for that, till Yale, in a cowardly, clumsily-executed maneuver, abolished the program in the first week in June. . . . Yale cited several reasons for killing YIISA, a program devoted to the cross-cultural examination of anti-Semitism that had been in operation since 2006. But many observers suspect the turning point was a YIISA conference last August called "Global Anti-Semitism: A Crisis of Modernity" which, while featuring 108 speakers from five continents, dared acknowledge the existence of anti-Semitism in some Islamic cultures. There has been talk—though no proof—of fear of offending potentially lucrative donors from the Middle East."

- "Yale's Capitulation" in National Review
by Benjamin Weinthal
"Yale University pulled the plug on the first U.S.-based academic center devoted to the study of modern anti-Semitism, including the growing phenomenon of Islamic animated hatred of Jews, Israel, and the West. The Yale Initiative for the Interdisciplinary Study of Antisemitism (YIISA) was established in 2006, as the brainchild of Dr. Charles Small, an expert on new expressions of Judeophobia. Yale’s recent reversal is part of its ongoing capitulation to political correctness, and its attendant refusal to criticize fundamentalist Islamism."

Newsletter April 4, 2015
"Al-Shabaab, another jihadist army - as barbaric as ISIS - just slaughtered over 140 Christian students in Kenya, yanking kids out of dorms and asking them if they're Christian or Muslim.  The kids who declared their faith in Christ, murdered.  We're taking action, fighting to defend persecuted Christians through our offices in Kenya, Pakistan, and throughout the globe.  We've just released a powerful film telling the compelling story of the persecuted Church. We want you to see it - and share it."
